In the book
Escaping the Giant Wave, a boy named Kyle goes on a vacation. He has a little sister named BeeBee. He, his father, mother, and little sister go on a vacation together. His mom and dad go on a cruise for a job and leave Kyle in charge of his sister. When they are in the hotel, an earthquake happens. Then a tsunami or (giant wave) hits the beach. They are able to get up to high ground and escape the giant wave.
I liked the book a lot. It was a very good book. It was entertaining and funny. It shows that even kids can handle big problems when they need to. It has a brother and sister that don't get along at first, then end up loving each other very much and are thankful for each other.
